Exciting news! I'm going to be making some changes to this blog in the coming weeks, mainly that I'm going to start giving away free prints every now and then (once a month... -ish) to the first person who emails me at firstname.lastname@example.org... it's that easy! So, bookmark the page, add it to your RSS feeds, or check back often.. when you see the "Free Print" header send me an email and the first one gets a print delivered to their doorstep, any size of their liking up to 11x14 inches.
First one coming sometime next week, keep your eyes peeled!
Right before I left NYC I tried my hand at some food photography for My Midwest, a great story on writer Layne Mosler's theory that taxi drivers know where to get the best cheap and authentic food around the city. If it's possible to die of food overload, I almost did that day... but it was worth it.
Last week I photographed an amateur pole dancing competition in Sydney, put on by Bobbi's Pole Studio. The girls competing take pole dancing class for fun and exercise, and besides the friends there for support, the audience was mostly made up of the patrons of the strip club it was held at. Big thanks to everyone who stopped over for a picture, and to Clare for helping out.
